The Binational Fulbright Commission in Jordan is pleased to announce this year's round of JACEE Alumni Grants - Alumni Impact Grants for its Jordanian and American alumni. The grant is open for applications starting October 15th, 2025, with a deadline of November 10th, 2025.

This grant was made possible by The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Fulbright Commission in Jordan.

The purpose of these grants is to strengthen the role of Fulbright Jordan alumni (Jordanian and American), increase their impact as active community members, and enhance their engagement as alumni through community service projects related to their original Fulbright grant field.

Alumni Impact Grant allows alumni to implement community service projects that support their community by applying the experience and knowledge they gained during their Fulbright experience.

Financial Allocation

The Commission expects to offer up to three grantsfor this grant catagorys. The maximum amount of funds per grant is $2,500. Applicants for these grants are welcome to seek cost share from other sources, but this must be clearly specified in the proposed budget and application.

The Commission reserves the right not to award the maximum number of grants or use the full amount of funds allocated for this award, if an insufficient number of proposals that meet the grant requirements are received

Eligibility Criteria

Projects must take place in Jordan for Jordanian alumni and in the U.S. for American alumni. The applicant may not submit more than one application and may not be awarded more than one grant under this call for proposals. Profit-making activities are ineligible for this award.

To be eligible for this grant, the applicant must:

  • Be alumni of a Fulbright program administered by JACEE;
  • Be currently residing in Jordan (for Jordanian alumni) or the U.S. (for American alumni);
  • Be an active alum and indicate his activity record as requested in the application.
  • Submit only one application per cycle;
  • Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the project (not acting as an intermediary for someone else);
  • Submit a clear and feasible application aligned with the grant objectives, including all required supporting documents; and
  • Agree to comply with the grant’s reporting requirements, including progress updates and a final report.

Application Process

Applications must be submitted through the designated online form by Nov 10, 2025, 3:00 PM (Jordan time).

Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. A complete application includes both the online form and all annexes emailed as instructed.

 

Applicants must submit:

• Completed Online Application Form: Online Aplication

• Annex A: Project Plan and Timeline – must specify activities activity by activity, including expected outputs and deadlines. Access the template here.

• Annex B: Budget Narrative – must include activity-specific costs clearly linked to the project plan. Access the template here.

• Annex C: Reference Letter – a recommendation that supports the applicant and their proposed project.

Important Instructions:
  • Only online submissions are accepted; no hand-delivered or emailed applications will be considered (the annexes must be emailed, but the application form should be submitted online).
  • Applications must follow the instructions in the guidelines and annex forms.
  • Applications must be submitted in English.
  • Incomplete applications or applications with discrepancies may be rejected.
  • Applications exceeding the grant award ceiling  may be rejected.
  • Clarifications about proposals will only be requested if information is unclear and prevents objective assessment.

Notification of the Decision
  • Applicants will be notified by email at the address provided in their application.
  • Decisions are expected 1–2 months after the grant deadline.
  • Any additional updates will be communicated via email.
