The Fulbright Commission in Jordan is pleased to announce the launch of the Fulbright Advisor project at the German Jordanian University in Madaba. This project will provide students and staff with access to personalized mentorship and guidance by appointing our Fulbright alum, Dr. Ala’ Khalifeh, as a Fulbright Advisor for GJU campus.

On March 22nd, the Fulbright team visited the German Jordanian University to launch the Fulbright Advisor Project. Through this visit, our team met with GJU president, Dr. Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli along with President Advisor, Dr. Abdelrahman Zuraik, and discussed the importance of providing consistent access to educational and professional opportunities for students and faculty members.  

Our team also conducted an info session on the various Fulbright opportunities for Jordanians and introduced Dr. Ala’ Khalifeh to students and faculty members as the Fulbright Advisor for the GJU chapter. The visit was concluded by opening the Fulbright corner at GJU’s library which will also provide the students and staff with resources and information about the various Fulbright opportunities.

The Fulbright Commission is committed to providing Jordanians with accessible resources to Fulbright opportunities and this initiative is part of the Commission’s efforts to achieve that goal.
