Fulbright Thanksgiving Dinner at the New Fulbright House

After two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fulbright Commission in Jordan was pleased to host Commission Board members, Jordanian Fulbright alumni, and U.S. Fulbright grantees at the new Fulbright House for this year’s Thanksgiving Dinner.

Over 45 guests joined the dinner and enjoyed engaging and networking with each other. This Thanksgiving Dinner opened the opportunity for U.S grantees and Jordanian alum to share their different experiences, knowledge, and even food recipes!

To make this year’s dinner exceptional, attendees brought their favourite side dishes and family recipes to share and enjoy with everyone, along with traditional Thanksgiving turkey, stuffing, and gravy. The dozens of dishes from the U.S., Jordan, and beyond let everyone try and experience new dishes and recipes.

A visiting U.S. alumnus, Jessie Marks, made the occasion even more special by bringing his guitar to play and sing American and Jordanian songs, with the attendees singing along with him.
