The Fulbright Commission in Jordan is pleased to see two Jordanian Alumni, from the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, participating in Amman Design Week, one of the most important annual events taking place in the capital Amman to celebrate culture, arts, design, urban planning and innovation. This year's edition will take place from 4 - 12 October 2019.

Ms. Hadeel Mohammad, who obtained a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania - School of Design in 2016, is presenting her art installation "The Woven Mashrabiya" that will be on display at the Hangar Exhibition in Ras Al-Ain area in Amman through the week.

Our next participant is Ms. Mais Al-Azab, who holds a Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. Mais has recently won the Fulbright "Alumni Community Action Grant (ACAG)" Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA).

Her project "Borderline Installation, a public intervention in the city of Amman" is funded by the Fulbright ACAG.

"Borderline Installation" will be displayed all through Amman Design Week at Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts Park in Al-Weibdeh area.
