Our New Logo and Branding

As part of a global rebranding of the worldwide network of Binational Fulbright Commissions, Fulbright - Jordan has a new logo and visual identity which rolled out at the end of 2019 leading to the new website launch in February of 2020

As part of a global rebranding of the worldwide network of Binational Fulbright Commissions, Fulbright - Jordan has a new logo and visual identity which rolled out at the end of 2019 leading to the new website launch in February of 2020. We have refreshed the Fulbright Program brand to make it easier for Fulbright’s complex and broad network of supporters and partners to articulate the Program’s features and benefits consistently and effectively. Also, the refreshed Fulbright identity reflects how The Fulbright program is continually adapting to meet challenges and increase understanding where it is needed most.  

We, at The Fulbright Commission in Jordan, want to attract the most talented and passionate students, scholars, and professionals from all backgrounds. We know talent is broadly distributed, but opportunity is not.  Our new brand messaging conveys that Fulbright opportunities are open to all outstanding applicants, wherever and whoever they are, and we believe this updated branding reflects Senator Fulbright’s original, animating idea of building “mutual understanding” that leads to positive change, and is at the heart of the new brand.

Input gathered from global Fulbright connections

To undertake the Fulbright brand strengthening work, the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FFSB) and the Fulbright Program’s Leadership at the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) gathered input from around the world – from Fulbright alumni, current Fulbright students and scholars, private sector and NGO partners, binational commissions around the globe, leaders in higher education, potential Fulbrighters, and many others.

The three main brand elements and colors communicate the Fulbright brand and values succinctly and in a compelling way:

Mutual understanding that counters misunderstandings and helps nations and people solve pressing problems and work together toward common goals.

The Fulbright Program continues to play a critical role in building mutual understanding between the United States and countries around the world through education and cultural exchange. And the Fulbright Commission in Jordan hopes to carry on that role between the two countries by creating spaces and opening doors of opportunity towards a more compassionate and connected world.  

The new branding was carried out by our Outreach team at Fulbright Jordan, who worked closely with SYNTAX - a local design and marketing agency to deliver the new image of the Commission through an extensive and user-friendly branding that included a complete redesign of the website and stationary and outreach materials.
